Anyone tried connecting a different device to the intellicenter, my ENS202EXT got water logged. Need to replace. plan to move in the next 10-12 months so just want a cheap solution

If you understand networking you can make a TP-Link wireless bridge work. You need to hack a way to power it by your panel and weatherproof everything.

So I bought a new ENS202EXT off ebay, and I did the factory reset on it, and hooked it up PWR LAN1 WLAN all light up, on the back of intellicenter shows connnection yellow/green.

TCP_ERR basically say no ethernet device found. I bypassed the Intellicenter POE injector and used the one from the ENS202EXT box and same issue. I havent tried swapping new cables in yet, reboot the panel. Still nothing.

Is there some serial # thats linked from my OLD ENS202EXT somewhere thats preventing this new one from working? I thought maybe the Pentair POE injector and original ENS202EXT were serial tied, thats why I bypassed it with the 110v poe injector.

Any advice? help? ideas?

Found this thread, giving it a go!!!

Basically need to switch the default mode to 'Repeater'

No, they are not serial number tied.

I found the IntelliCenter to be very finicky in the power on sequence to get the Engenius online. It took me a few power everything down and then power up the IC to get it connected.

Where did you see the TCP_ERR?

Did you try connecting the RJ45 on the PCB with a long ethernet cord to your home network and seeing that basic connectivity work?

Have not tried that yet(long cat5 all the way to IC). I got my new ENS202EXT set to repeater mode and still same error. TCP_ERR when you click search for wireless networks
