High TA

You really have two choices...

1) Just lower your pH to 7.0 and let it rise on its own to 8, rinse and repeat, it will lower TA over time. There is really no need to aerate unless you are in a hurry to lower TA.

2) The other choice is to aerate. You want to make LOTS of VERY TINY bubbles. Water features, if you have them, turn them on, they will aerate.

I made one of these and put it on a sump pump...I can lower TA by 10 in 30K Gallon pool in 12 hours.

Your TA is reasonable. As you manage pH with MA, TA will come down. You don't need a dedicated effort to lower TA. How are you testing?
