My Circupool Edge 25 has been performing perfectly for the last year and a half. Monday morning I noticed the water was not sparkling like normal. I tested water. FC was only 1.5 when normal levels are 3-5. My CYA was low at 40 so added to bring it up to 70 where it normally is. I added bleach according to pool math but this morning FC was 0.5 and 0.0 CC. Monday night I also set SWG to boost(100%). I don't see any bubbles in the return jets like normal. This morning I shut pump and SWG down at the breaker while I cleaned the pump strainer basket. When I restarted pump and SWG, I noticed I now had the little bubbles at the return jets. We had a thunderstorm early Monday morning and lost power momentarily. Would this cause an issue with the SWG? It never has in the past. I also run my pump on low speed 24/7 and high speed for vacuuming.

The SWG makes chlorine in short bursts of time so you wont see bubbles all the time. Give it a few minutes and see if it turns on and off.

But get your FC up over 5 asap.

Thanks. Yes I'm dosing with bleach for now. Called CircuPool and we determined the control was the problem. Several of the power LEDs would flicker and by taping on the panel, it started producing FC. My system is under warranty. So shouldn't cast anything to get is fixed.
