Deep Clean of Pentair Triton II

We are starting our sixth season of our pool and I've never deep cleaned the filter. I've scoured the "deep clean" posts the great instructions provided and just had one question... we have a side mount filter. What plumbing, if any, do we need to disconnect before we open it and start the process? Any other tips for this filter specifically? TIA

In case anyone else stumbles across this, we did not remove any plumbing. We put the multiport valve in the Closed position and shut off all the intake and return valves to the pool. Bled out the air using the gauge on the top, drained it (which we probably didn't need to), slid the sprayer thing out of the way, and then did the hose thing. Ours wasn't very dirty. Water was clear after 2 minutes or so. Put it all back together, backwashed and rinsed, and didn't get any sludge into the pool. We have a TR100.
