    CSI Range

Is there a reason that the pool math app shows a target for CSI of -0.60 to 0.60? I thought the target range was -0.03 to 0.03 with ideal range of -0.03 to 0

    IntelliChlor configuration in IntelliCenter

I'll try to see if that's the case tomorrow. Thanks for the idea.

    Stone split

I used Loctite PL 500 Landscape Construction Adhesive to repair a cracked travertine coping that goes over the pool cover vault. Just did the repair a few days ago so I don't know how well it will hold up.

    IntelliChlor configuration in IntelliCenter

Thanks Jim. I'm still getting to know the arcane programming of the IntelliCenter. It's not intuitive to this retired software engineer. I added a feature circuit called "CoolDown" (did not see any such feature like the EasyTouch has) and scheduled it to start running when the filter pump...

    IntelliChlor configuration in IntelliCenter

I fired up the IntelliChlor on my new pool yesterday. I'm controlling the intelliChlor with an IntelliCenter running firmware version 1.064. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I would like to turn off the IntelliChlor a few minutes prior to the filter pump turning off at the end of the day in...

Cover-Pools automatic pool cover (Jandy) with Pentair IntelliCenter

Hi, Was wondering if anyone has gotten a cover-pools automatic pool cover to talk to an IntelliCenter. I saw in CoverStar Sensor with IntelliCenter where @dustindclark said: My pool builder put in a magnetic switch on the Cover-Pools pool cover and ran the wire back to the IntelliCenter and...

    Hoping to unbury a 40ft x 17ft pool

I would try a metal detector. I would think the rebar in the walls would produce a strong signal. Or get a small diameter metal rod with a sharp tip and probe for it. Based on the little bit of deck remaining can you estimate how deep the top of the walls would be?

    Water level recomendations?

Hi, Our pool is finally nearing completion. Tiling was done recently. We're wondering where we should plan on having the water line (there is an automatic fill so we can set it to whatever we want). If we set it to half way on the 6" of 1" x 2" tiles the water would be about one half inch...

Schluter edge trim instead of quarter round

Allen & Kim - thanks for your input. I'm also a bit leery of using the Schluter edging. My main worry is wear and tear on the automatic pool cover. My PB says they cost $4000 - $5000 to replace.

Schluter edge trim instead of quarter round

We're in the process (still) of having an inground pool built. We selected a tile that does not come with trim pieces. We have been unable to find a quarter round trim tile that would match the field tile. It would be used where there is a transition from vertical to horizontal (dam wall and...

    .,.

Z - is the water proofing you speak of meant to prevent rust stains on the plaster? What type of waterproofing? Does the waterproofing have any effect on the adhesion of the plaster? I might have a case where there's only 2 inches of cement between the rebar and plaster (pebble tec in my case).
